The Agreement aims at establishing legal basis for applying joint actions regarding extradition of persons that avoid criminal liability by hiding on the territory of another Party to a Treaty.
Under article 1 of the Agreement, the Parties are obliged to extradite persons that are accused or convicted of crimes and are situated on their territories in order to bring them to criminal responsibility or for execution of punishment.
The respective bill was registered under No. 0018.
